What We're Doing
As BBFI missionaries, our vision is to serve the Lord in Nepal by proclaiming the gospel, planting churches, and training national leaders. We want to take the gospel to the city of Pokhara, Nepal, where the gospel first came to Kshitiz's family.
01
Pokhara, Nepal
According to the 2021 census, just 1.76% of Nepal's population identifies as Christian, revealing the vastness of the spiritual harvest. Our mission is clear: to bring the gospel to the people of Pokhara, disciple national believers, and ultimately plant a church that will carry the message of Jesus Christ to future generations. With hearts committed to this calling, we believe this is just the beginning of a lasting impact.
02
Evangelism
Many people groups in Nepal remain unreached, with little to no access to the gospel. Our mission is to change that. By establishing a gospel ministry in a major town like Pokhara, we have the unique opportunity to reach multiple people groups at once—those who migrate from surrounding villages seeking a better life in the city. Our ministry will focus on evangelizing these diverse communities, ensuring that the good news of Christ reaches those who have never heard it.
03
Discipleship
In addition to evangelizing, our mission is to disciple those saved by God’s grace, guiding them to become mature followers of Jesus Christ. We are committed to equipping national believers as future leaders, empowering them to carry forward the teachings of our Lord for generations to come. Through this, we hope to create a lasting legacy of faith that extends well beyond our own efforts.
04
Church Planting
Our vision extends to planting churches, beginning in Pokhara and expanding to other regions of Nepal. Through these churches, we aim to ensure that the gospel is proclaimed for generations to come, creating a ripple effect of faith that reaches the unreached and endures long into the future.
